A look inside the LDP: Blind Team Builders

This activity is one of our scholars’ favorites!

Basically, there are four people on a team. In one room, something has been constructed (in this case, out of newspaper, cardboard, and pens). Only one person on the team gets to see the construction. That person then must describe it (without notes) to a second person who can then help the other two people recreate it. It was an enormous struggle, but allowed the students to develop leadership and communications skills in ways that they did not think possible. Check out the video below to see one team at work!
