A hopeful story from Kinshasa!

An amazing story in CNN today chronicles the rise of Staff Benda Bilili, a musical group made up of disabled individuals from Kinshasa. If physical handicap is an impediment in the United States – and it’s a large one – Kinshasa’s environment for the disabled is even more austere. Nevertheless, Ricky Likabu and the rest of the band never gave up hope, saying, “The energy remains because we see that we’re doing well and everything is going to be fine.”
